The CASL Executive and Advisory board have made the following decision: Due to an incident on 5/20/12 Soles FC and their players (along with another individual) have been removed from the league and are therefore barred permanently from participation in any further CASL. League and Cup activities due to their violation of the league's policy regarding "gross misconduct".

To all the managers in the CASL: Please read and understand ALL of the CASL rules included on the CASL website!

Please understand that there is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy within the league relative to the use of alcohol and/or violence either from players or spectators. Violators of these policies risk permanent expulsion from the league. Please be aware that the league expects accountability from its managers relative to the conduct of their players and supporters.

Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm by Chair, John Chakbazoff

- It was discussed whether to continue with the situation whereby each team pays one of the  two referees $30 each for friendly games. MOTION – passed
General Discussion :
- For the upcoming cup games we will proceed as follows : 
Over 30’s (6 teams) : Week 1, All teams play, Rank #1 vs. Rank # 6, Rank #2 vs. Rank #5 etc.
:  Week  2, Winner of  Rank #1 vs. Rank # 6 will play the wildcard (the highest   scoring/lowest goal difference loser from Week 1, The winner of Rank #2 vs. Rank #5 will play  the winner of Rank #3 vs. Rank #4
 
Over 40’s (9 teams) : Week 1, Rank #8 vs. Rank #9, all other teams have a bye
:  Week  2, Rank #1 will play the  winner of  Rank # 8 vs. Rank #9, Rank # 2 vs. Rank # 7, etc

- John to check on the availability of fields for the summer and next season and discuss the feasibility of a ‘shortened summer league’ at the next meeting
- Next seasons friendlies  start   Aug. 19th. 
- AYSO field in Upland is still an option for next season but must be after  Sept. 9th at a cost of $36.00-$40.00 per game
- The  new season will start the weekend after Labor Day (Sunday Sept. 9th)
- It was discussed that the Over 30 teams continue to be allowed only  4 players over 21 but less than 30 years old n their team. MOTION – passed
- It was discussed that it be confirmed that the Thursday before a Sunday game is the deadline for any new players to provide a waiver and a valid picture identification to be eligible for the 
 upcoming  Sundays team roster (this can be mailed, emailed or physically delivered to John).  MOTION – passed
- June 26- July 1st is the Veterans Cup  (http://www.usasa.com/home/545052.html)     in Escondido and we are planning on putting together an Over 45 and an Over 50 team . Try-outs will be at the end of the season for any interested players.

Results of the disciplinary board meetings regarding C.A.S.L League issues for the Spring 2011

Wed. 4-6-2011 Disciplinary Board Meeting CASL

 

 

 

1)       Over 30 Division:  Week 7, Alta Loma vs. Thunder

Game terminated at ½ time due to issue with assistant referee (linesman).  After review of the game and referee report this game will be rescheduled to play the 2nd half (45 minutes) of the game on a date and time agreed by both teams.  The score will start the same as it was terminated at the end of the 1st half Alta Loma 2, Thunder 1.

2)       Over 30 Division:  Week # 4 Soles vs. Tequilla Bar FC

After further review of the incident that occurred after the game of Soles vs Tequilla FC the Board has voted not to deduct points from Soles due to additional information that was revealed by the teams at the meeting as well as the timeliness of the reported incident.  However, please note that drinking at any of the fields by any CASL members will not be tolerated.  For Soles and Tequilla FC this is your last warning, next incident will result in your expulsion from the league.

3)       Over 50 Division:  Super Guapos under age player.  After further review with the Team Manager and the information provided on the game report and the league rules the ruling stands that Super Guapos will be deducted 3 points for each game that Oscar Flores has played in.  As of Spring 2011 any new players must be 50 years old to play.

 1.  Over 50 divisions – Each team is allowed 4 players 48 or 49 years old.  After start of Spring 2011 season all new players must be 50 years old to play.

2.  All rosters will be final by week 6 of the season for each division.  Once the season has started the last day to add players will be posted on the CASL website for all teams to see.

3.  At no time during the start of the season can a player from any division play on two or more teams in the same division.

4. A player who receives a red card and participates in multiple divisions in same season will have to sit out the following week for all divisions the player participates in.  However, players who receive red cards will be allowed to play in other divisions the same day due to the fact that the referee’s cannot monitor multiple fields and multiple divisions on game day.

Players from Super Guapos 50 were drinking last Sunday at Lewis Park, below are the names of the players that were drinking, As of 01/25/15 they are banned from playing soccer, or participate in any CASL activity for 1 full year.

Team Super Guapos 50 is on probation, and any players or spectator with alcohol will result is a life ban for the whole team.

Players from Chivas 50 Ricardo Mejia, Luis Estevez and  Mariano Rabufetti. were drinking alcohol on Sunday February 8 at Lewis Park. As of 02/15/15 thay are banned from playing soccer, or participate an any activity for 1 full year.

Team Chivas  50 is on probation, and any players or spectator with alcohol will result is a life ban for the whole team.

Alejandro De Gioia, player from Chivas 50 is banned from playing is CASL for life. He punched and kicked opposing player in a friendly game. We have zero tolerance toward players that fight in our league.
